Hi ALL,

I've already cleared two of my cpa exams, n took my third in Jan and last one on 5th Feb. I got to know that I can't see my scores in Feb results due to this retrospective stupid change in requirements of CO board....Y they have applied it retrospectively, it's so harrasing and causing problems like in my case. I'm not carrying with me all my originals docs, marksheets etc here in US and going back to India in March first week. So does that mean I cant see my scores till the time I go back to India and get this evaluation done? Also Is there any Agency in Delhi which does this evaluation for cpa course of CO board....otherwise it means that I need to courier all my docs from India to some agency in US for this evaluation which seems to be a very costly and time consuming affair.... MEans I cant get my scores for 3 months atleast which is not fair at all,. Also now the ques of ethics exam... Earlier before this stupid change, I had a plan of clearing all cpa exams by Feb only n then Ethics exam too in Feb itself before leaving for India. But now whole plan seems to be shattered... :( somebody pls tell me can i take my ethics exam from India whenever I get my scores from CO in 3 months?? Nothing is clear.

I just want to see my scores in Feb results...once I go to India, will get this evaulation done....

Hello All,
I got my credential evaluation from ece.org and found them to very professional and very fast.
I had heard a lot of horror stories but none of them were true (thankfully).
My M.Com was equivalent to 150 credit hours. So ALL IZ WELL.

Hi Vdesi,

Which type of Evaulation we need to get done from ECE..can u pls specify for CO board...Also there is a prob in my case, I'm not having with me here my graduation Ist year and Last year marksheets....so can I still get the required hours on the basis of my B.Com degree and Chartered Accountant degree of ICAI? I'm waiting for my cpa results in Feb.I've already cleared two of them and hopeful of clearing remaining two in FEb results.but I think cant get my scores until I get this evaulation done.

@GeorgeJo

NJ does not issue a certificate. One needs to have 150 credit hrs of education, pass all the exams and work for one year under the supervision of a CPA.
I got 150 credit hours based on my education from India.
As ece is a member of NACES all states which do not mention any particular evaluation agency will accept it.
Hope this helps.

@AMagan
Congratulations on passing you two exams.
Please ask the CO Board if they accept evaluation done from ece.org.
If you can get someone to fax / mail you the remaining marksheets etc. you can complete your application and send it to ece.org it will take time depending on the type of service you use.
I would not take a chance of sending only part of the documents as, if they ask for all your documents you will only delay it.
Let me know if you need to know anything else.
