I know your post has been up a while, but I got my MBA from a school that was ranked #10 the year I graduated. I went straight to grad school after I got my bachelors; my undergraduate degree was in Business Administration. I guess it was useful in getting my foot in the door when I first started working, as the only experience I had was in internships. Other than that, for me, it feels like a waste of time.
I ended up in a career with which I wasn't satisfied. After 2 years I decided to go back to school for accounting. But my experiences/opinions aren't for everyone. It seems to me that the MBA is a great credential to have if you plan to keep your career in the corporate arena, but it does little more than to sound fancy on a business card if you eventually want to go into business for yourself. Just my opinion.
