just my 2 c: i just thought I might get an ego boost with an easier section first which i hv a better chance of passing: but you definitely hv a point here.....

Thanks.  I used Yaeger and it seems to work for me, but if you put in the time you can pass with any program.  I think I studied about 120hrs (quality hrs, don't count CPAnet as study time, j/k).

I've heard of people taking an "easier" exam first to build confidence.  For me, I knew that I would lose motivation as I went along so I took what I perceived as the hardest exam first.  I'm definitely losing my motivation now, so I'm glad FAR is behind me.

Do a hard one first, REG or FAR.

That way if you pass, you have great motivation towards the last 3 and you only have one hard one left. This also helps with your 18 month window.

If you fail, you'll most likely have a higher chance of passing the second time through months later and at least you know you failed a hard one. So it's not like failing BEC or AUD right out of the gates and getting demoralized.

I just took FAR, about 99% sure I failed. But at least I know it's a tough section and that I most likely underestimated the amount of time I needed to study. I'm sure I can pass next time.
