I would suggest pondering the effects of leaving just before or during busy season. They understand if you want to leave, but leaving during busy season might be a bad move. Just something to think about.

I've considered this and do plan to stick out the current busy season client I'm on but plan to leave prior to the next busy season client (which would be my third round of busy season).

Do you plan on sending our resumes during the fall when firms hire?  Just curious.

I'm currently interviewing with other companies (non-public accounting and non internal audit) and I already have one offer Im close to accepting so I don't think I'll be sending my resume out again during the fall and especially not for public accounting firms.
