There was less material back then-REG was two sections, and there was no BEC. There were also no sims, and the questions were easier than they are now.

Thats silly, space them out and study individually. It will help minimize your stress levels...

Do you guys worry at all about what happens if you only take one section at
a time but then you fail? And then like, you'll have less time and be all
stressed and everything?
Both my prof and my cousin keep telling me to take two at a time, but I'm so
nervous for FAR that I'm just like...feeling this sense of doom. T_T

Do what makes YOU comfortable. Just b/c two at a time worked for your prof and cousin doesn't mean it'll work for you. The exam is hard enough, why kill yourself studying for two at a time if you don't have to? At most I would suggest taking two in the same testing window (one at the beginning and one at the end) and even then I would suggest mixing one of the easier exams (AUD or BEC) with one of the harder ones and I would take the harder one second.

I wouldn't take FAR & REG together. Why not go with FAR and BEC as they complement each other to some extent.
