iheartpeter...loved ur post. Nowadays, I am going to the library to study but everyday to my surprise I find so many people come to the library with small kids and these kids scream and scream and what chances r their that these kids will stop their tantrums after hearing a hush from their parents...NONE.

I studied in a big-name open-late bookstore with free wireless internet access.  I discovered that I could store a bunch of music CDs on my hard drive and play them with Windows Media Player at the same time I was listening to Gearty & Olinto.

The best investment I made during my exam prep was a set of decent $50 headphones.  Not the earbud kind, now, I'm talking about the ones that completely cover your ears and muffle outside noise.  Music on -- noisy kid problem solved!
