My FAR date is May 3rd and I'm using Yaeger. I haven't received my materials yet, so I'll probably begin studying on Monday. To those who have taken this test before, what materials did you use and do you have any hints for success?
I am sitting for FAR this window (beginning) and REG (ending). Hopefully this will be the last two times I have to take the exam. I got a very very very scary 63 on FAR last time, but I studied very poorly and was not prepared at all. I basically memorized all the questions Becker asked me and poorly at that.
I'm using Yaeger now and definitely devoting more quality time into my studying. Here's hoping...
Did becker not work for you for FAR? I'm going to be using Yaeger too. What did you use for AUD? I used Yaeger and bombed...sonext time I'm going to try a different approach.
My Becker Software is already expiered..is there any way to study lectures without software.??? or what should be the study plan for FAR only with Becker book. I have wiley Bok as well..Please guide me..
My NTS expires on May 10, but I haven't scheduled a date for FAR yet. I want to wait until I finish Yaeger. Hopefully I'll be done within the next 2 weeks and schedule FAR around April 10-15.
I have BEC scheduled for May 10 because it is the last day that I can schedule an exam on this NTS. I'm not sure if I will have enough time for both exams, so I am dedicating more time to FAR and will worry about BEC later. :/
I made this mistake before. I now order an NTS when I need it (either because I've failed or moving on to another part). It's $50 in CA for a new NTS, which is cheaper than losing money for sitting fees.
