I finished all modules in 2 weeks and when I finished the last one I was like
"what the h... was in the first few modules" .. definitely needs a lot of
repetitions for this kind of material to sink in :)

Could someone help me with this?

Only July 1 of the current year, Dewey Co. signed a 20-yr building lease that it reported as a capital lease. Dewey paid the monthly lease pymts when due. How should Dewey report the effect of the lease pymt in the Financing Activities of its statement of cash flows?

a. an outflow equal to the current year principal pymts only.
b. the lease pymts should not be reported in the financing activities section.

The answer is A.  However, I thought the answer would be "B" because its a property and acquiring of PPE is an investing activity.

Please help!
