Wiley or Gleim? Seems like some people recommend combo. What worked for you? I need help.. I am stumped how to get those extra points... Does Gleim have SIMS? I personally am not a big fan of Wiley SIMS. I dont feel like with FAR, they really prepared me..

I used yeager homestudy for the concepts and applied them to the Gleim MC. I know you said before that you were weaker in Concepts and Presentation. If I were you I would get the gleim MC and focus on study units 1-4 & 5-10.
SU 1-4 focuses on the content area of concepts, and SU 5-10 focuses on the content area of presentation . If you find yourself scoring 80-85 on these areas then you are ready. If you have problems understanding the concepts then pop the yeager review video in for that particular topic to refresh your memory. I feel that wiley/yeager explains the topics better, but gleim MC are more realistic to what's on the exam.
Yes gleim does have sims, but I would focus on the MC. I can tell you right now that the sims are not as improtant as the MC. I ran out of time on my second sim and still got an 85.

That sounds perfect. I appreciate your help. I am so thankful to have this forum. That is the areas it seems I am getting hurt on. I also have a few areas where I think I could memorize/understand concepts maybe better.
So go through GLEIM questions and hit it up/focus it with H/S when need be? That sound right? Also time frame. I am thinking 3 weeks or so. Taking week off after 15th, and start that next week, and sit middle of May? Sound realistic with Gleim. I mean some of this material had to stick in my head, so it's more a refresher/strengthening session.

wildgirl -- i feel for ya....i was using becker/bisk but they expired on me....i'm using the Gleim CPA Test Prep --- it cost like $45 but doesn't have sims. it has like 2,000 questions though
haven't gotten my score yet (took FAR on 3/6) so i don't know how good it was yet.... during the exam i felt comfortable with the multiple choice and felt like the questions in Gleim were good and the explanations helped to solidify concepts
in other news i really really hate FAR... i can't bear to take this one again

Yea sounds like an option. Trying to gather up my hurt feelings, and focus them onto a new study plan. I really was at a loss, but thankfully you guys have helped me to see the light... glimmer of hope that I can do this again... Stupid FAR.
Just looked at your BEC scores. I would hate BEC to. Bastard. Always gotta be one for us doesnt there?
