Yes its so important not to give up while taking the exam even though you feel completely discouraged. I felt that way for aud and bec and passed both.while taking aud I remember cursing myself for choosing this profession and that I didn't have what it took to be a cpa. I was almost in tears while taking bec because I had questions that were absolutely not covered in my review material. Looking back those questions were most likely the pre-test question that didn't count. However, I left reg not feeling like i failed but with an uncertain feeling..just waiting now.

Thanks for the encouraging words and good advice...I too never felt the test getting harder and can admit it got into my head while taking the exam.  Every question is #1.  I'm scheduled for the retake on 4/26 and this will be the end of it.

I took the exam today, felt so bad. For simulation two, I
only finished two tabs, left the other two blank. Also for
MCQ, I felt a lot of things uncertain. Testlets 2 and 3 are
much harder than testlet 1. Hope I can get passing score.
I'm depressed since I put at least of 220 hours on FAR.

I did not pass it in the first try. I felt pretty disappointed, but I believe that for myself, and im sure for many of us, timing becomes the biggest challenge. Lacking knowledge hardly has anything to do with not passing the exam because you know you studied, but it has everything to do with the lack of time to finish...at least that's how it happened for me. So now im trying to pace my self better, i know i will get there :)

I managed time well when I was doing testlet 1 and 2, but I
spent too much time on testlet 3, and simulation 1 is ok,
simulation 2, I didn't finish it within 30 minutes. MCQ, I
stuck with very easy questions too.
