I think the university of kentucky or university of kansas has a 1 year program thats pretty good with good connections.  No its not harvard, but they have big time basketball programs and alumni that go to the games.  Connect with other sports fans and when you send that resume out you already have a connection.  A lot of big execs are sports fans and love to hire people with similar interests.  I think University of Texas would be ideal, you get the top accounting program + top football.

Do you know which 1 year mba's are good?  So far, all I have is Georgetown on my list.  They have really good both full and part time programs, quality athletics (basketball) and good networking on campus.

they can tell your status by years of attendance and graduation date on resume,  Plus your transcript..if your taking 2 courses a semester vs 4-5.

Yes you may learn the same things but your resume is your resume.  If you were good enough to get into fulltime and chose part time your probably ok, if you chose PT because you couldnt get into full time your not helping your case that much.

PT defintely makes sense if your employer is paying for it and if your company has a policy for internal transfers and promotions as most good large companies do. A lot of times FT doesn't make sense because you have to move, be in debt.

I would much rather get a PT MBA from a more elite school than a FT one from a lesser one.  I would rather have a PT MBA from NYU than a FT one from Rutgers... just my opinion.
