I think most people just do the MBA when they have an actual stable job. Usually PT and its only to get promoted. Unless your an outlier like Legend who is going for a top 5 program.

Yeah, part of that research is also more than just online research. For example, I went to UCLA recently and checked out the campus, talked to kids on campus go to know them a little. Tried to see if the program is right for me or if I might fit in well. See where careers lead after graduation and what they kind of focus on and if they have a specialities. Some schools have a lot of certain types of jobs when you graduate, etc, etc. If a school has a reputation for graduating students that move into private equity later, etc. Its fun to go to all the campuses and meet the faculty and soak it in. I still have not made a decision but at least have an idea now for the future.

Yeah they have alumni too, but the students actually have more current and up to date information. I actually do a 360 perspective and talk to everyone and get all perspectives,
