Then I guess your best bet would be to talk to several people who have done the PT program at NYU or similar places and find out what the real benefits of the program are.

From what I know of Big 4, it doesn't matter if you have a MAcc, MSAT, or
MBA - you'll typically get a small bump for having a relevant master's.
However, the recruiting processes are different.

Best bet is a full-time, 2 year MBA program at a top 25 school. On equal
footing is an executive MBA (2 year) at top 25. Then part-time at top 25,
and so on and so forth. The most important thing is the school and it's
reputation. I'd rather get my MBA from Columbia than NYU, from NYU than
UConn Stamford, UConn than UHart, etc. Work experience trumps all,
however.

I know this is a dumb question, but is any MBA considered a "relevant" degree or only one that specializes in accounting?
