Actually I got my job because originally I was an accounting major before I decided to change my major due to my love for economics (which I was unable to find a job in because of the bad economy), and I used to do internships during the summer at the Big 4 office I currently work in and kept up communication with the office while I was in university. Also, hiring practices outside of the US are different for some Big 4s, due to some accounting boards, e.g. ACCA, not requiring a degree in accounting for licensing.

While my major was not in accounting, I had minors in finance and accounting, I actually have 18 credits in accounting and not the 24 credits, and alot of th states require either 150 credit hours or specifically that its an accounting degree.

I never said i only had 12 credits in accounting...I dont have 24 credits, I am actually six credits short and
