Hi all...

I think quite a good brain storming going on... I am glad that i raised this topic and it will be helpful for everyone in this forum.

I have opted for the Professional Ethics exam under the Colorado State Board. I would then see whether i need to transfer my grades to another state or not.

Thanks magneto and laks for u r input and pls also pass on other information which comes to u r knowledge... I am glad that i am a member of this forum...

Hi Rahul,

It is good that you raised that question. Now, I am beggining to get a cleared picture. The subject matter we discussed has always been a confusing one. When I do a research about this online there are so many contradictory opinions. So, it is not a surprise that we were all not having a clear picture about this.

Also for those who read these posts, I want to make one thing clear. My posts were not misleading - my posts were more like - "let us find out more before we come to a conclusion" and there were definitely not like - " i know this is right or this is a violation".

Please keep us posted, if possible in this same thread, about any thing new that you find out about use of CPA in Resume, employer cards etc

All the best! I am sure you future is bright with two sought after professional qualifications under your cap!

Hi Magneto

Thanks for your offer. I am taking FARE on 11/30. I will stduy for the ethics exam in Dec. So, I have some more time. I have dial up connection - so downloading a large pdf file will take forever for me.

Thanks again. Good luck with REG. With your scores in the other sections, it looks like you have a fool proof method of preparation.

All the best!

But does one need to have a license (after having passed cpa exams and obtained certficate but no work experience )to work at entry level /Staff positions in the big 4 or other Small to medium sized public acctg firms .

This also after having passed from delaware and planning to work in another state.(TX)
