thanks Dcgrl for your reply

I have already passed the exams last yr form delaware as a delaware candidate.

I took t he exams from there since i qualified from there without any complications

now i have already got a job in texas as an entry level in the tax compliance field .(Since i dont have prior us experince so entry level )

So i was just inquiring whether that would pose a problem .i already have the cert from delaware and require 2 yrs experience for the license .

also was wondering once i get the license from delaware can i then

transfer it to texas ?

I have to still inquire on the process of getting my grades trfd form delaware to texas .if that is smooth i can do that first.

Do u have any idea on trf of grades.

Thanks once again for ur replies.

Navlata, Vermont requires the AICPA ethics course - it doesn't matter whether you get the book or the CD version of the course.  See #5 on the application - http://vtprofessionals.org/opr1/accountants/forms/ACCOUNT%20 ENDORSEMENT%20APP.pdf

Mans, Texas is a two-tier state also.  You can apply for a certificate or license by transferring your Delaware grades to Texas, or you can apply for a license by reciprocity if you have a license in another state.  Here's the TX board website - http://www.tsbpa.state.tx.us/ - you can find forms and rules and stuff there.

Once you have passed the all four sections of the exam, and according to what state requirments you have to fullfil for the experience portion, you have to pass the ethics exam, and then apply to the state board for your certification. I would not put CPA in my resume, if you have not gotton the official letter from the state board. You can say that you have passed all 4 portions of the exam, this will get their attention.
