getting in the 70's is okay imo.  When I failed REG I was getting in the 50-60s, when I passed I was in the 70's.  I've heard Becker MCQs are harder too (I use Wiley).  I think it's normal to panic the last week, which is why I only take one day off and then test on Sat or Mon (take Mon or Fri off).  Sometimes I can't even study on that day because I'm SO freaked.  But that's just me and some people are great at cramming.  I wish I were!!

Yeah, looking back on my previous study performances (I have a really depressing excel log with tabs for each section that I use to keep track of study hours and performances between first run through the material and final run through) I'd say I'm not doing as well in FAR as I have in other sections but FAR is a beast. I'm also not too far off from prior study performances for exams which I passed. I'm not going to know everything but I think I've done a good job today of reviewing weaker areas. Tomorrow I'll do the same and hope that everything comes together on test day. My experience is that Becker is MUCH harder then the actual exam and that's why drilling the questions over and over again is so important.

Thanks for the encouragement, best of luck in your studies.

Hey Kevin,

If your scoring in the 70's and using Becker then I think you are doing well.  That was about the same or a little better then what I was hitting in the Becker practice tests before audit BEC, and reg and i made it through al of 'em.  I am taking my test on July 7th and plan on using the same stratigy: MC, MC, MC, more MC and then maybe some MC.  Having said all of that I feel waaaaaay underprepared for this section compared to the others.  I think it's just the huge amount of material to be familier with.

Well, back to government accouinting for me - hang in there!
