Ya, done, but i'm not sure about the work experience.  I work for a Canadian bank, CIBC, so i'm not sure it qualifies...i just wanted a certificate that states i passed the exams.  I'm not interested in practicing in the US.  I asked the NH nasba people and they said no certificate.

Apparently, and i wish the becker rep had informed me of this, some states are all or nothing, meaning you need to pass the exams and fulfill your elegible experience requirements before you get your a certificate or whatever.  2-tier states will issue a certificate on passing the exams but full licensure upon meeting the experience criteria.  It's my general understanding, i'm still a bit foggy with how to proceed now.  I trying to get fawkin becker to transfer me to a 2-tier state at their expense.

You can't just transfer two a 2-tiered state.  It is also hardly Becker's problem that you failed to read and research appropriately.    I don't know how you passed all the CPA exam and didn't understand if your state is or isn't a 2-tiered state.  Becker is just used for review purposes.  They are not your state board of accountancy, where this problem ultimately belongs.  It is like me getting angry at the library for not informing me of how to do research.  They aren't there to teach you life skills.

I thought the same thing.

Forgive my ignorance, but what's the difference between a certificate and a license? You can't actually call yourself a CPA until you have your license in your hand, correct? So what good does the certificate do?
