Yep, I think people just LIKE to bash somebody else. Why it's so difficult to understand his point of view? He comes from another country, so he (and his employer) may not fully understand the US state system. Not every country in the world is a union of states with different laws and legal requirements for each profession. Having said that, I do agree that it's not Becker's problem. Still, I think that the person (the Becker representative) that 'facilitated the negociations' and brought additional business to Becker (and maybe got some sort of commission fees for doing that), is somewhat responsible for this 'legal limbo'. Yet, it seems more like an ethical issue rather a full-blown legal issue. Ethics, here I come: what is ethical and moral in this world when a person (the Becker rep) can do wrong and still feel OK about it in legal terms?! I've just ordered the Ethics exam CD :-)))
