They are more open-minded about internships, so i think you should
be ok with not being 100% sure whether audit or tax is for you. I
ultimately chose audit because it has a more diverse career path, not
because I prefer auditing to tax.

Yes, its basically the IT Audit/Consulting division of every Big 4. Since you used ERS, your obviously referring to Deloitte & Touche, at EY it is ITR(Info Technology Risk Services), PWC is SPA/System Process Assurance, KPMG is IRS, Information Risk Services. Your basically concentrating on auditing control risk environment around client's IT infrastructure. Basically a lot of SOX/internal Audit work with IT control focused base. Career path is big 4 IT audit --> IT internal audit, SOX Coordinator, IT Compliance, IT Risk divisions of Corp, basically all the IT Deparments of Financial services or Other industry sectors and mebbie ---> CIO-Chief Information Office which is the creme de la crop of It audit end goal.

Someone asked, how do you stand out in a database of
thousands of applicants.
- If firms recruit heavily on your campus,
quality RELATIONSHIPS are key (with as many associates
from the firm as possible).
- If firms DO NOT recruit at your campus, then I think
this is where GPAs, social activities, leadership, and
other experience are among the deciding
factors.
I'm probably different in that I don't believe the
ultimate goal is to get offers with every firm. You are
not going to fit in with every firm. For some, you
are better off narrowing down your choices early and
investing more time in the firms you have interest in and
building relationships. In the long-run it'll payoff if
you every get to a point in your career where you
want/need to change firms. The component of relationship
building will pay off time and time again.
I would also say that you should not focus your time
exclusively on the Four at the exclusion of other
respectable firms. Many of those partners are former Big-
4, and can lead to great references if you every want to
start in a middle-tier firm and move up in the food chain
later. While that method may be more difficult, it is
possible.

how many interviews did you go through for a Big4? I'm done with the second one. How long does it take for them to email/call you back? The interviewer said to wait for an email. It has been two weeks and I want to find out if I passed or failed.
