Hi Laks

Thanks for the insight. I have done my Bcom. Hope this satifies their Criteria. Shall I send my credentials for evaluation before or after clearing the ethics??? or these processes can be done simultaneously?

How is your fare preparation coming along??

All the best

Shilpi

The Vermont license application says
Quote:
All candidates must submit proof of successfully completing an eight-hour course of study in Professional Ethics. The
Board has approved the AICPA's "Professional Ethics for CPA's" course. (Applicants who have been licensed and
who have actively practiced public accountancy while licensed in another jurisdiction for five (5) years within the ten
(10) years immediately preceding application, do not need to submit proof of having taken an eight-hour ethics
course).

Shilpi,

I think you can send your credentials for evaluation for licence and do the ethics simultaneously or afterwards. I think these are seperate requirements. I dont think the evaluating agency will ask for ethics exam certification before they evaluate your credentials. You can also call and check this out with the company doing the evaluation.

My FARE preparation is going on OK. I am really enjoying studying for FARE. It is quite interesting and it is not boring like auditing! I dont know about the results though!

Thanks Dcgrrl,

The link you sent is not working. Is it the CPA exam application form?

I know the application lists the requirement for Ethics exam, but I did not receive anything from board explaining the ethics exam requirement.

Should I goahead and order Comprehensive AICPA ethics exam course ?

Hi Laks and Dcgrrl..

you guys are the only hope for me to get the answer of my question.. i have asked this to many people around me but does seems to know this well.. and also communicated with co-ordinator.

My question is regarding the working experience for colorado license:

in their rules they have mentioned they " 12 full months working experience in public accouting including 1800 hours under the supervision of active CPA or CA within five years before or after passing exams."

My question is even though i am not CA but was in CA final and thus have 2 and half year of working experiece under active CA in india. so does this fullfill the requirement of colorado working exprience.

if u need more detail before u can come to any conclusion i can paste you the emails i have recieved from the colorado board representative.I was not able to properly interpret that.

i would really appreciate your help. i don't have experienced people in this feild around me.

thanks very much.. egarly waiting for your replies. i think if what i am interpreting is correct a lot of people on this forum is gonna get benefitted with this.

thanks and regards
Gauri
