Hi Everyone,

I passed all four parts for DE. Does anyone know whats thre rule for transfering credits to CO. I had not completed my bachelors at the time I passed my exams but had 120 credit hours. Do you have to have your education requirements completed for CO before you pass the exams for DE to be able to transfer DE credits to CO? Any idea how that works?

Hi everyone,

I have completed all 4 parts of the CPA examination. I am yet to take the ethics exam. I have registered with CO board. I want to apply for license. I am a CA from India and have done my articleship during 1998-2001. Does this suffice to get license or do u require recent experience? When can u call yourself a CPA? Once u pass the exam or once u get a license?

Please help!!!

In CO state you can call yourself CPA once you have the license which means exams AND experience. Now, since you are CA you can sit and pass the exams but I am not sure of experience requirements. Some states want experience to be within 5 years before or 5 years after CPA exams... I think CO works like that so you might wanna call them and find out about your perticular case...

hey COL requires the experience 5 years before or after passing. Why dont you try Rule 2.5.I too passed the CPA exam and completed my articles around the  same time as you. Will be applying for Rule 2.5 .You cant call urself a CPA until you have the license/certificate

I am also in the same boat. My question is that can we use CPA designation outside of U.S even if we are not certified or licensed. I wrote from CO board.

Thanks a lot.
