I also returned to the CPA exam experience after meeting all of the educational requirements ten years ago.  I decided in summer 2010 that I would make up for the project I had started and never finished.  It is for my own self-esteem to prove to myself I'm not a quitter.  So all of my motivation is internal and I don't let other people know what I'm working on.  (It's a need-to-know basis and they don't need to know, just as I don't care to know when they're trying to start a family, or some such.)

I guess my tip for you is to internalize your project and don't depend on the encouragement or interest of anyone else.  Even a loving friend or family member simply cannot understand the CPA exam experience if they haven't gone through it.  Just shrink your world while you're going through this experience.  Once you're on the other side of it, it will all feel worth it.  I remind myself of how I felt at 10:05pm the night my FAR passing score was posted.  That was such an incredible feeling which I want to replicate for myself.  Don't ever expect to receive outside affirmation that could even come close to matching how it feels inside YOU.

buttrying,

thank you so much for your encouragment, I appreciated your words.

I was laid off 2008 and try several interviews for finanicla analyst, but did not have chance to get a job.  Now, I am working as accountant for a small medical clinic and earn only 70% of what I earn before.  I know it is a tough market and I do have two kids to feed.  My motivate is simply want to earn more choice.

You are right.  You can only do thing the best when you want to do and will to do and enjoy to do it.  And it all comes from your internal willing.   I plan to start from FAR and using weily book.  I am still look for CD or online class.  all this need to put into an action plan to make it happen.  Thanks, friend, I will keep going...
