If it is our dreams to pass CPA exam, no matter how many times we failed, we have to keep trying.

I read before on this forum this lady passed all four sections for 3 times in 3 years before she finally got licensed.

You are not alone at all. Don't ever give up. It's a shame not ever trying. Failing is not a shame.

Stressedout, Don't give up. I know how frustrating it can be. It is amazing to read your post because I went through the EXACT same emotions as I was taking the test. I just did not want to focus anymore once I got to the 2nd testlet and saw it was easier. When I came home that day I told my family, I need to keep studying. I just knew I got below my prior scores--somewhere in the 50 range. I was shocked, even though I did not pass, to find out it was a 70. I felt there is no way I got that high of a score. So in a nutshell do not get discourage.

2009 material is not much different than 2010. I have both books and I looked on the Becker website for updates to the pages and there was nothing that would make a major impact on the studying.

My strategy so far is going through all the chapters again and work all the homework. I am strongly considering getting Yaegers cram course because I did study extremely hard for the last test-strictly Becker material only. Spent a weekend locked in my room and must've done the questions 4-5 times. Did not help but got to keep pushing. Just keep focusing on the prize.

I did the same thing. Saw the 2nd set of questions was
easier and got very upset. Spent so much time on the
second set I barely even got to the 2nd simulation. I
think it's important to do your best no matter how easy
the test gets. You never know when you might get lucky.
I ended up with a 64. If I had done the 2nd sim, who
knows? I'm going to to try to stay calm no matter what
this time.

Use an accounting textbook like Kieso. I referred to it at times. Very good book.
