Hitting the books harder...5 times is a good number...plus the lectures...

TIME MANAGEMENT IS THE KEY TO PASSING DURING THE REAL EXAM.

I know it is really frustrating..I had same feeling because I just had my FAR last week.

But, don't give up and cheer up! I realized that FAR exam tests "basic concepts" even though I had very tricky questions on the exam. Those concept questions were testing our understanding about concepts, even though computation questions. So I won't just keep doing baker questions, I will review every incorrect choice and see why those are wrong choices.

Definitely do not feel hopeless.  I just took FAR for the first time.  First testlet was easy, 2nd was possibly a little harder, and 3rd was easy.  In fact, before I started pondering all of this bullsh!t, i was feeling like a million bucks cuz I thought I had just dominated the multiple choice.  Then I realized that it was *rumored* that the testlets get harder the better you do on them.  After that, I was sick to my stomach for the sims, and got blown away by them.  My first sim was alright, and my second sim i left TWO ENTIRE TABS BLANK.

Needless to say, I still have faith that it's POSSIBLE that I passed.  I've heard stories of people thinking they failed, not even doing an entire simulation, and passing.  So we should all keep faith.

Upon reading the AICPA website, I realized that there are only 2 difficulties of testlet.  Medium difficulty and Difficult.  So, if you think you did poorly on a testlet, you can only go one step down from that.  Therefore, if you thought testlet 1 was easy, 2 was easy, and 3 was even easier, then you are mistaken.  there are only two levels, so 3 could not be easier than 1.  No testlet can get easier than your first testlet.  I don't know if that makes anyone feel better, but..

@stressedout; I felt the same way you did; like I FAILED the exam because
strangely enough the first testlet was difficult but others have said the 1st
testlet is easy. Well for me it wasn't the 2nd and 3rd testlets were easy; so
yeah I said I definitely did bad on the 1st testlet so yeah I failed. But am not
worrying about it too much, I have left it in the Lord's hands and if I have to
do it over I will just do so. Gone are the days that I worry about passing or
failing these exams, you just never know. I am leaving everything in the
Lord's hand and moving on with my other exams.

Good luck to everyone who sat FARE last month and who are sitting for it this
month.
