If you go to the Becker website to the student section looking for the update software and material posts... They bombard you with IT, I assume they call this the IT Technical Addendum. I call it overkill!
I would def know the book in and out. I am planning on A: reviewing the released AICPA IT questions becker released, and also skimming the Technical Addendum. I do see the pt in spending say 1-2 hrs reading through quickly to try and be familar, but likely going to get what 2-3 questions from this MAX! But good question, I plan on going ito exam with B1, and B4 down cold. It's all easy questions, no thinking really as a question like:
Name the 7 components of a LAN:
node-workstation-server-NIC-"Transmission Media-NOS-Communications Device...next question :) I am sure you get my point, I am only saying these are easy pts for the person who takes time reading over and doing the MCQ's a few times and read, read, read. I don not like becker flash cards a whole lot, but they get the brain going into a good pattern for learning so if anything use them for warm-up.
If you haven't go print out all the extra Becker IT material (it's a lot), and at least skim it to get familar with words / expressions. I think Becker picked up on that IT was an area they need to go more in depth on because exam has moved in that direction. They are covering their bases, as should you. GL! I am on fire tonight with the long posts, must be the good coffee.
