I've come to the same conclusion from my own forum search. I sure hope it's right because I'm a little reluctant to tell anybody and then find out that I was full of it.

Below is the website's definition of advisory score.

Advisory Scores:
The actual score issued in advance of the Board's posting of the score and formal issuance of a score report that contains diagnostics and credit status. The Board releases the scores to allow candidates who failed any sections to reapply and schedule during the next testing window.
