Also, venusgirl, congrats on your reg score.
That's pretty impressive.   Which section are
you studying for now?

I don't mean this in a rude way, but how do
you keep from getting discouraged when
you fail a section? I just found out my FAR
score yesterday and am so
angry/sad/discouraged..i feel a million
different emotions! It's such an awful
feeling to see that failing score..how do you
keep going? I want to just give up, but I
know I can't.   Ugh....

I would be discouraged if I were you too. I was really
cheering for you. But there is nothing you can do but
quit or keep trying. Wondering about curving won't help.
I'm sure you can pass it next time. And I bet it will be
curved up in early 2011 too.

That being said, I knew I did better this time than the
first time. I don't think I did that well on the sims.
It probably was curved, I don't know how much. I'm not
too worried about it, but it's easier to say when you
passed...

I told myself that if I didn't pass another test in 2010 (I passed REG all the way back in March when they opened test centers b/c of the snow) that I would quit.  When I got my score I was pissed and discouraged, but I'm pretty stubborn and quitting just isn't me.  I think I am worn out and that probably hurts my scores...but I don't know what to tell you really...I just keep going because I know that eventually I just HAVE to pass, it just WILL happen.

That probably isn't much help...but just my perspective.

oh and I was going to study for AUD right away, but since I've been studying for FAR for the past few weeks I'm going to keep going with it and take FAR in Jan and hopefully AUD in FEB.  Plan B would be to take AUD in qtr 2 if my FAR prep takes too long.  :)

I'm worried I will lose REG (expires in Sept) before I pass the rest, but I think it will be ok for me too pass again because I'm a tax wiz and my former fails were b/c of the stupid b-law parts.
