I mean no criticism. So basically what you are saying, is that if you pass the exam, you will be viewed more favorably by a potential employer. That is the same as in the US. You can tell people, and even put it on your resume, that you passed the exam. You just can't say you are a CPA until you are licensed.
There are some "two-tier" states that give a certification for passing the exam, but only confer the license upon completing experience requirements. I believe this certification is basically just a certificate, but you still cannot call yourself a CPA and you have no right to sign a financial statement (someone from one of those states, please correct me if I am wrong). I'm not sure which states these are, you'll have to look into that. You can try to transfer your exam grades to one of those states, but that state would have to approve your educational requirements first.
You can also try transferring your exam grades to a state with no experience requirements. Again, that state would have to approve your educational requirements first.
