HI Friends,
I am based in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). I have passed all 4 sections of CPA exams in January 2009 from California Board. I want to obtain CPA certificate however I have only 140 semester hours as compared to required 150 by most states.
Can anyone pls. suggest me any school/college from where I can obtain 10 semester hours online (economical is better) and transfer credit to North Dakota as I being an international student I do not have Social security number to obtain the certificate California board.

Another option is Colorado still only requires 120 hours. However, I'm not sure how the SSN part would complicate things. I assume you've researched and found that you don't need a SSN in North Dakota? Not sure if you need one in Colorado.

Thanks for reply, it's true that Colorado require SSN while North Daota does not.

Just for 10 semester hours my certification is delayed. Pls. advise if you know any online course where I can complete this requirement.

Hi Jawwad, nice to know there's someone else in the UAE going through the process.

I'm going through CO as well and actually, they don't have an SSN requirement. You just need to sign an affidavit stating you don't have an SSN and that's it, and they only have a 120 semester hour requirement, so you should be able to get a certificate through them.

Have you done the ethics exam yet?
