Good Luck AccoutningNerd8.  Try not to be so nervous.  The nerves will get the best of you on test day.  That's what happened to me.  You probably know more than you think you know for the exam, considering you got a 73 the first time around.  Relax and pass this exam.  You can do it. :)

It wouldn't make sense for all the IFRS questions to be pretest. After all, they're on the exam because the AICPA believes that it's important for entry level accountants to have a high level understanding of IFRS. I wouldn't even gamble that most IFRS questions are pretest. The AICPA gave the warning quite ahead of time, so I'd wager they have the expectation that most (if not all) CPA candidates are aware of it.

Well, think about it this way, the AICPA has said again and again that it will not tests questions without pre-testing them in a prior window to see if they're worthwhile to be used as questions, and assign a weight to them.  Logically, unless anybody was seeing any IFRS questions last year, it would stand to reason that this would be the window that they would be used as pre-test questions.

That is unless they're pulling a fast one on us, and ignoring the rule about questions being pre-test before they're actually counted towards our score.

After taking the exam I don't think you want them to be pre-test.  There are much more difficult questions that I am hoping are pre-test.

15 pre-test MC
1 pre-test Sim

just got back from my test! I had 2 IFRS per testlet. I knew a

IFRS though!
