Hello:

How much should I concentrate on the ancillary material? Do they have any weight-age in the examination or is it just further reading?

Also, are there any benefits of the video review lectures, as I am finding the text difficult and slow to understand?

Since I dont have any CDs from Becker, I guess I am missing the following:

1. Video Lectures
2. Simulations (I plan to fulfill this by buying Wiley Test Banks)
3. Flash Cards

Am I missing something else? Would you suggest some other material?

Please let me know your thoughts.

I can help you with part of your concern. I have also done Bcomm from India but not CA or Mcomm. Now in California.
I got my degree evaluated for CPA exam. Just on the basses of my Bcomm I was 7units short in accounting (requirement is 24credit units in business subjects and 24 in accounting) So I went to community college and covered those 7 credit units as well. Now looking forward for a positive response from CA board of Accountancy.

I am sure since you have done Bcomm as well as CA you'll be good with your credit requirement.

Thanks for sharing your evaluation results.Yes, I was mainly worried because I didnt have a Mcomm degree.
I also plan to get my evaluations done in due course and will keep everyone posted on the outcome.

Update from my side: I got approved to sit for exam from California. And I have also enrolled myself in Becker's live course. Today is my first class... Hoping to clear all the exam by year end.

Just send the transcripts of Bcomm, Mcomm (as mush u have done) and CA (if you have any) to CPA foreign credential offices. You'll receive a unofficial copy of your evaluation. Then send application to CPA board. (That's what I did)

I m new on this Forum and its appreciated that every one is sharing information regarding CPA Exam. I am CA and MCOM from India. I have applied through Colardo State and I have send my education creditional for evaluation to FACS and still pending for confirmation. I am confused for next step to apply, study material and how to choose exam window. I need some guide on these issue.
