Hello Friend,

I am a CA and B.Com from India aged 23 and just arrived in USA on Green Card.  I am too looking to pursue CPA as my first qualification in USA.  I too have come across a guy for Becker CPA 2011 materials. The sample material he has given is fine but are scanned pages and also there is written 2010 below each page, so how one can be sure that the material he is giving are of 2011 edition because one can easily scan 2011 cover page for old 2010 edition.

I am confussed about this.  If you are sure that these are 2011 edition, then please let me know as I am too willing to buy them, may be from you.  Also we can make shared purchases for material/videos.

Also want to ask you that whether the quality of ALL  those scanned pages for all 4 parts is fine as shown in the sample ?

Waiting for your reply friend...

Regards,

CA.Paras Patel

Hello:
How much should I concentrate on the ancillary material? Do they have any weight-age in the examination or is it just further reading?

Also, are there any benefits of the video review lectures, as I am finding the text difficult and slow to understand?

Since I dont have any CDs from Becker, I guess I am missing the following:

1. Video Lectures
2. Simulations (I plan to fulfill this by buying Wiley Test Banks)
3. Flash Cards

Am I missing something else? Would you suggest some other material?

Please let me know your thoughts.

Sonal

Hi Paras!

You can check whether your material is of 2011 or not by looking at the content. There are many changes in the content of 2011 from precious ones. To verify that check AICPA website.
http://www.aicpa.org/BecomeACPA/CPAExam/ExaminationContent/C ontentAndSkills/DownloadableDocuments/CSOs-SSOs-Final-Releas e-Version-effective-01-01-2011.pdf

I have already studied BEC, so I can tell you the difference between BEC 2009/2010 material and 2011 material. The 1st lecture of 2010 material was replaced with corporate governance 2011.

I hope my suggestion helps!

I understand, if I take up Delaware, I have to complete a
Federal tax course. Can anyone please help me with the
