Hi,

I am using Becker Review Course. There are a few chapters which I am finding difficult but otherwise its manageable. Going through the chapters first time as of now may be will understand them with second read.

I preferred Becker because it strictly adheres to the CPA course requirement and covers all the important areas well. (This is my understanding)

Regards,
Sonal

Hi Swati!

Regarding the material that you are purchasing from Amazon: Can you please attach the link in the reply because I was unable to find Becker's CPA 2011 material on Amazon. BTW, I have already purchased mine from Becker's at full price and have given 1 exam too. So just wanted to check.

Regarding your 2nd question: Even I do not have any experience in auditing but I guess that sh not b problem. If the exam requires any kind of experience, the board must have kept it as a requirement. It's just we might take more time to understand the concept than those who have been working in this field. So I believe we should be good.

All The Best!

Hi again!

Regarding my BEC exam: If you do Becker's homework question and understand then you'll be good. At least I felt it that way. The only mistake I did was I assumed it to be more of theory types exam and less problem solving. Rather I got 75% of problem solving question in my exam (due to which I am sure I won't pass).SO prepare well on those. Another thing is time management...

I felt Becker's was good for BEC & now I am preparing for FAR... :)
