RR_CPA, I took BEC yesterday and got pretty much the same opinion like Icandoit2010 did; it was tough but no surprises. I, however, had lots of calculations which ate up my time and I found myself on #12 of 24 on section 3 MC with about 40 minutes left. Not good. And each time I got one more calculatioin I would go 'wdf'! I rarely curse and I think I cursed during my exam more times than I did all of last year. lol.

I used Becker primarily and Wiley to supplement, then I got a Gleim handout from a member here which summarized some key COSO points which I found very helpful.

Icandoit2010, thanks for the info. My far nts expires in May so I have to take it then. I only have 2 months to prepare for it and I'm sure that's not even enough. LAst time I took an accounting course was in '06. *sigh* I'll use Becker this time and see how it goes and might supplement with Kaplan if I have to retake.

I think to be successful at BEC, you will need to refresh or restudy both AUD and FAR. So, if you haven't taken AUD or FAR, please don't take BEC.

Kemi: where there more COSO problems on your exam and did you feel it getting harder?
