Guys who are preparing for BEC....

Do mange your time very well.... I had really bad time in my yesterday's exam. I was left with only 30min to completed all 3 written comm.

@CPA31- My experience was nearly identicle to yours. Used Becker for BEC and logged over 100 hours studying because I was aware people underestimate this section. I used cpareviewforfree to supplement IT and COSO. I also bought Jeff's NINJA notes over at .com because I wanted to nail this exam the first time around...

RIIIIIIIGHT! The exam was totally random, and I found myself puzzled by many of the questions...seemed like I was taking the wrong exam the entire time! I think I guessed on most of the theory ones because I was so thrown off by the wording of them. The WC were not bad, but Becker had warned me that they may be off-topic. All in all this exam was terrible :( It too was my first one and I am really discouraged by this start...

Only a scoring malfunction will enable me to pass that mess :(

Well, I hope you guys did better. Only a few more days, quite a bit of anxiety building up.

I sat for BEC on April 23rd. There were a few curve balls but I was pretty much what I expected. I believe the Wiley materials helped as did Yaeger's lectures and study sheet. I probably had to do a 50/50 guess on 6 or 7 questions. Looking forward to getting my results. I think I'll schedule for REG in August as my next exam. If I didn't pass BEC now, I will retake it then. I should have enough time from the beginning of May to study around 90-100 hours for REG and squeeze in 20 hours to review BEC if I need to retake. Going to take this week and part of next week off from the CPA. Good luck all!
