Those of you who took the exam on today, do you feel the simulations within the study materials are sufficient to prepare? I failed FAR and know it's because of the simulations. |

I just took the exam today. I didn't feel as though any of the simulations were terribly difficult. The problem was trying to figure out how to navigate through one of them, and the freaking time crunch that you are under by the time you get to them. This is my first time taking this test, and it comes at you FAST.
Speaking solely from the test I just took, if you review and are up on the major concepts as well as the non-profit/government stuff for the simulations, normal review materials are fine. The research question was extremely easy.
Having said all of that, I'd put my life savings on a bet that I scored 60% or lower. I got open handed monkey slapped by this test for sure. I guessed on a good 25% of it. I will say, the concepts that I did know did not appear to tough. None of the test is like "rocket science", but there is just so much of it.
And one question that is nagging me now: As far as I could tell, my simulations did not ask me to write anything. I am now scared that I missed the tab at the top and I was supposed to write for one or mor of them. Can anyone confirm whether or not FAR has a writing portion?
