So I just finished up, there was a good deal of Non Profit and Gov't Accounting and only 5 or 6 IFRS (2 were nothing I had seem in Becker).  While there were some tricky questions, I have to say that there were not many questions as extensive as Becker.  I made it to my Sims with 2 hours remaining and was able to complete all Sims.  Reminder to people, use the guidance for all your Sims if you are not sure.  Since I had time I was able to double check my answers.  Good Luck to you all and I hope to find out in June that this was the end for me.

Thanks for sharing. I left an hour and a half for sims and
still didn't finish because I had to look up so much stuff,
and my research took so long to find. I left an entire sim
blank :( Good luck to u

CPAPhilly,

How much time did u take to prepare for FAR. I am also using Becker material and my live class is starting from April 11th. I am planning to give FAR in May end. Do you think that's a sufficient time to prepare. please let me know.

Thanks

I just got back from taking FAR today.

There were a few tricky questions - a lot of IFRS stuff, some of which I hadn't seen on my study material (I used the Kaplan FAR materials for 2011).

The first MCQ section was reasonable, the second one was pretty challenging, and the 3rd one was in between the other two. I got to the simulations with 50 minutes left and needed all the time I had left to finish them. The research tab was the last tab I got to, and I plugged something in that seemed vaguely correct with seconds remaining. I did finish all of the simulations, so we'll see.

Renu, I am also starting classes on 4/11 and plan to sit for the FAR exam at the end of May.  Are you taking the classes in Iselin?  I have taken the other 3 parts of the exam with Yaeger and passed one and came close on 2.  I have not yet taken FAR, so it will be a first shot (and hopefully final).
