Hi 2010_2011,

Since you have already passed BEC And FAR, you can also pass Audit. Maybe you are having difficult incorporating some of the concepts in Audit. I don't know what review course you have been using. I can tell you that Roger CPA is awesome. He explains the concepts very well in Auditing. You can also ask questions over the Internet and the Roger CPA review team will answer your questions.

Hi Chatterr,

I am using becker 2011 for my review. For FAR and BEC both I used BECKER material only. I did purchased wiley and it had always been my plan to review some portion of wiley before my exam but I never did...so I passed both BEC and FAR with just becker. With audit I have purchased wiley, but I don't know why but's hard for me to incorporate two materials, so I am sticking with becker asusual. I am scoreing in 90's on becker exam maybe because till now I have done them multiple times and I think I have started remembering the questions. On wiley exam I am scoring between 72-75 per MCQ testlet and average-above average on simulation. I think the main part here is that I am scared about failing, which is making me loose confidence but I have to face this exam and I will this time.

Any advice that you think I should follow...I know that most important here is to believe in myself.

Hi 2010_2011,
You are right. The most important thing is to believe in yourself.

Try focusing on your weaker areas. I think if you can get around 80% on the multiple choice and get average or above average on the simulations, you should be okay. I think it is also beneficial to do the AICPA released questions.

I have the Wiley book. The book is not very easy to read but the answers to the questions are very well explained.

Try to do all the multiple choice questions in the Wiley book at least 2 times.

Keep at it. You can do it.

Thanks Chatterr for your help and suggestions. I will follow through your suggestions. My plan is to take a date in the middle of 4th week of May, just crossing my fingers that I get the desired date. Will post my exam experience once I am done.

I got my AUD exam date on 25th MAY. And I am finally going to give this exam again. My advice, to all people who are studying or planning to study for this section. Till now I have done FAR, BEC and AUD exams...just one big advice for all those who are studying for these exams. DO NOT THINK THAT YOU COULD STUDY FOR A MONTH OR SO AND PASS...IT'S NOT POSSIBLE. Ok if you are brilliant then MAYBE...MAYBE YOU HAVE A SLIGHT CHANCE. FAR took me 4-4.5 months of hard hard study to pass. BEC took me 3 months of hard hard study. AUD has taken me 5 months...though I have been sick in between but if I take out half a month for my not feeling well. Then again if everything goes fine for AUD, I am sure i need 4-5 months for REG. These exams are very very hard and if you get lucky in one or two...which in my opinion is very rare, then you could do them fast.

I have been an above average student with a 3.68 GPA in my accounting major MBA and these exams have made me sweet, cry, sick and only when the result comes do you forget your hardships.

If many of you don't agree...I am telling my story the way it has been for me so that I can help other's who are like me and can estimate there time accordingly.

I have used becker for all three (FAR, BEC, AUD).Just touched few brief things from wiley...mostly final exam from wiley. But yes till now Becker has been helpful. Just crossing my finger for AUD. exam.

AUD exam 25th MAY
