I was a winter intern this past January. After the first
couple weeks on the engagement, I was working between 65-
75hours a week. The double overtime is awesome :). You
dont as much activities as the summer interns, but you get
lots of money, and you'll actually learn something.

Was the double overtime written into your offer? It wasn't in mine and now I
feel stupid. I am in EY NYC audit

It wasnt written into my offer, but it's part of california
law, any time over 8hrs is 1.5x pay, and over 12hrs is 2x
pay

I was also a winter intern and it was awesome, I got paid
overtime and at the end of the internship I was offered
to continue to work full time. I was considered first
year when I was offered full time employment and in the
fall of the same year I was promoted to second year with
the rest of the first year class that started in
September, the previous year.

Pros: You learn a lot and very quickly while getting paid
overtime. If you perform well, full time offer awaits at
the end of the internship.

Cons: You don't get much training, you are dropped in the
middle of the audit and you either swim or sink, it is
very tough.

What firm is that blondica? Do most firms consider promoting you
early after doing spring internship?
