This is my first time doing a CPA exam and I'm waiting on my score. Where are you seeing your advisory score? I thought it would just post to my CBA account online.

Any help greatly appreciated!!!

NTS 452 here from Cali. I finally received my AUD score
as of six this morning.

FYI, I have received the scores for each of my three
exams approximately three days after NASBA release (just
to give an estimate for future releases if this stays
consistent)

Good luck everyone and always stay in the fight!!

@cpacard - https://www.cba.ca.gov/cbt_private/login_form

Log-in to this site and then click on the status tab at
the top. Scroll down to the bottom. When you receive your
score, the portion that says "attended" will change to
"advisory score" with your score next to it. That will
then change to your actual score within a few days. FYI -
the advisory score should always be your actual score
(advisory means that it's the boards way of getting your
score out to you first so that you will have more time to
reschedule for retakes if needed)

I hope this helps and good luck to you!

Hi, congrat on your score...

What did you do to improve your AUD score?

I'm taking the AUD in July.

Thanks for your support.

For my first attempt, I believe my two main weaknesses
were:

1) I took the exam without having a strong understanding
of the audit concepts and procedures
2) I rushed through the examination assuming that I knew
what the questions were really asking

When I started studying again, I made a commitment to
really understand each chapter. Before, I sort of went by
each section very quickly because I thought I had an
understanding. I went through each chapter and lecture
slowly. For the multiple choice testlets, I made sure I
knew what they were asking instead of solving them
blindly.

Sure enough, I started to finally ACTUALLY understand the
material that I thought I already knew. Everything just
clicked.

I strongly believe that if you make an effort to really
understand the concepts, it will all come together for
you. That is what happened for me. The more you review,
the more you will grasp the material. It sounds cliche,
but it is true.

Also, during the test, be sure to TAKE YOUR TIME. I
finished with an hour remaining on my first try and it
kept me wondering after I left the test center. This test
is sort of built so that it can be finished quickly, but
you should try to you most if not all of the four hours.
I triple checked each section during my second attempt
and I actually did end up change a few answers because I
read the question incorrectly (almost same mistake
twice). Sometimes, maybe even ONE word can change the
entire question.

In a sense, if you have a solid understanding of the
material and take your time on the exam, you should be
fine.

I hope this helps and please let me know if I can be of
any further help to you.

Good luck and keep studying hard! You WILL pass!
