People that don't get into the Big 4 usually end up at:
-Mid-sized or small firm -Accounting dept of a private company -The IRS or state & local govt. -Non-profit -Go back to school for even more education -Unemployed (some of which love to come on this board and complain about it)
I'm not sure what the point of your question is. You don't have to make it to a Big 4 firm to be happy, successful and to have a good career. Don't let anyone tell you that if you don't get into Big 4, you're a failure. Because you're not. Not everyone makes it and not everyone wants to work there.
