I just received a winter 2012 internship offer for KPMG and
I am going to be in my third year of college this fall. I
was wondering about two things: firstly- how likely is it
that I will be offered a full time position? and secondly-
since I still have not started my junior year, I have one
whole year after my internship before I will be out of
school and ready to work full time. Would they offer me a
full time position right after my internship for a year
later? Would I have to reapply after I graduate?

While nothing is ever guaranteed, you will most likely get a full-time offer to start in the fall after you graduate. You will not have to reapply, they will essentially give you a verbal offer during the last few days of your internship and then mail you a written offer, which you will sign and send back.

Thanks for the reply. I was also wondering if most interns
are Juniors or Seniors. I am going to a Junior when I
intern in Winter 2012 so I was wondering if it is at all an
issue that I would not be ready to work full time for
another year.

if they give you an offer it's usually for the following fall (2013)

Since I'll still be in school in Fall 2013 (I'll graduate
Spring 2013) will the offer still stand the next year (Fall
2014)? Thanks guys.
