Thanks again! What would make one industry a better choice then another? what is the actual difference regarding work, for the diff industries like financial vs. manufacturing? Where does real estate fit in? also by three seasons do you mean three years?

3-4) These definitely are questions that I can't help you answer.

I absolutely have to reiterate the fact that you should never put down another candidate blatantly by claiming you're better. But having a false sense of self worth is dangerous in the corporate world, especially in organizations as big as the Big 4.

1. So you admit question 3&4 are hard questions and i tried to give some suggestions while saying that they need refining and i am a douche???....I swear ppl like you!!smh

2. I never suggested for the OP to blatantly put down another candidate.. i suggested he make a general statement regarding working long hours which in fact alot of candidates arent prepared for....

3. How is having confidence in your abilities which one might have proven throughout their work history or school a false sense worth....

1. I never said anything about the difficulty of the questions. I said that he OP should be reflecting on these questions himself because he should know better than anyone.

2. "Because i infact enjoy working the grueling hours and like some candidates I stay calm under pressure and stress." - Inferring other candidates aren't "good enough" to handle the pressure.
"Not being patient enough at times and pushing the ppl around to work harder and do better. I say this because i have come to learn recently that we are all different and not every individual will have the drive to succeed as much as i would like of them..." - Lol at you telling a partner that your team members should conform to your standards for success.

3. Like I said, it's not wrong to be proud of your accomplishments and you should be. And it's fine if you think you're hot **** and better than every candidate, but keep that to yourself. To a partner interviewing you, you're marginally better than the next candidate at best. You've provided no value to the firm, in fact the firm is at a loss position because you haven't charged a single hour to a client. OP, if you get into PwC, or any other Big 4, congrats to you! It's not an easy process and something you should of course be proud of. Work hard, stay humble, and try to get the best rating at the end of the year. But don't make the mistake of thinking that because you finished a busy season without screwing up and maybe producing some quality work, it means you're not dispensable. Reality is you'll be just as dispensable as I am.

I don't think there's a way to PM on the forums, but if you want to drop me you're email I'd be happy to communicate with you privately that way. It's hard to say which industry is better, there are a lot of variables that can go into your decision. We can talk more about that via email.

Internally within the Big 4, they generally judge your experiences by # of busy seasons you've gone as opposed to the actually number of months you've worked. Meaning if you started January 2012 and quit June of 2013, you've worked "two years" at a Big 4 because you've gone through two busy seasons, even though you've only really worked 1.5 years.
