I read this before my office visit for FT audit and was shocked at how different the interviews went. It was extremely casual.
They were 30 min interviews and the partner and manager both said they would tell me about themselves then give me the opportunity to tell them about myself and then a free flowing conversation will take place. I didn't get anything close to a behavioral interview or any kind of on the spot question at all. In fact, most of it was the partner/manager sharing their experience at the firm and if things slowed down at all they just asked me if I had questions. The hardest question I got was why audit and why pwc?
One candidate from out of state came out of the partner's office with a map of the city drawn on a piece of paper detailing places where he could live if he moved here! Very casual.... but maybe that was just my office.
