Thanks Mark. Reg is my first exam.  I've been putting it off for months.  There are only two outcomes - you either pass or don't pass.  Unless you are extremely bright (or have a photographic memory) there's a proven method to pass.  Do MCs and Sims.

Thanks for the stick in my eye.  I've been putting this off for months and wallowing in this mire.  Time to get my game on.

I think Reg is hard to study for. It's 2 beasts - tax and
law. The tax part isn't too hard for me. I have a
background in it. I don't any experience with the law
topics. The logic and subtleties of the law questions are
very hard for me to discern. I think the simulations, so
far, have been easier than the multiple choice. I thought
the opposite way about BEC, FAR and AUD. I'm just doing
quizzes to try to get the topics nailed down. I didn't
have to put nearly as much effort into regularly getting
good quiz scores as I have with REG.

Fortunately, At least on my exam the law Q's were not that tough. Basically, law & contracts just understand the BIG PICTURE (Concepts). But don't blow off
your practice Qs, dig in, eventually the LIGHT WILL COME ON, though it might only be a very dim light.
LAW & CONTRACT = think BIG PICTURE
Indeed, there maybe some DOUBLE TRICKY ULTRA PYSCH OUT Qs on your exam - But, even if you are a Harvard Law Grad Top & in your class, you are likely gonna
get it wrong - so it doesn't matter.... It's only one or two Q, perhaps a SIM. Heck, you might even guess right, for the wrong reason, and get a couple of points on the
exam that you didn't deserve.

THINK POINTS - That is what you are going for.

USE FEAR - To force yourself to do the Q's

'Effing A' I do - but only to supplement my amphetamine addiction, CUASED BY THE THOSE SOBs AT AICPA

But, I'm in rehab now and feeling better about myself.

(THAT WAS A JOKE SPORTS FANS)

Yup, coffee helps you focus, BUT ONLY ONE STRONG ONE IN THE MORNING. And don't drink the 64 oz. triple carmel latte STARBUCKS crap - all your gonna do to yourself is have a clinical
Anxiety Attack followed by a sugar crash. You got enough Anxiety already - you don't need more. They add extra Caffeine to it.

In the afternoon, I might have a cup - BUT A NICE STRONG CUP OF QUALITY TEA I think is better. (Better buzz - just an opinion)

Since we are on the topic of self medication, A SMALL amount of sugar, or carbs in the afternoon helps - it perks you up a bit. I have some Coffee Nips (candy) I picked up at Trader Joes that
does the trick. I had a study buddy that invariably crashed (I'm talking sound asleep) about 3:00 PM every afternoon - I popped one of those in her month, and she would be back on track
(doing her Qs) in no time.

BUT, EIGHT HOURS OF SLEEP is best EVERY NIGHT. And get a work out in everyday - it clears the head, and helps you sleep.

You gotta have a clear head for the inane stuff.

NOW GET BACK TO WORK AND DO YOUR EFFING Q's
