Go Big 4 and take the 10% raise. Make senior after a few months and get another raise. Stay another year, jump to IA then, and get another raise. BAM! $$$!

What's IA?

Go to any big company's accounting department and you will see rows upon rows of cubes with staff accountants making a terrible salary. They are at the bottom of the profession.

Is that where you're at?

DB729...

Thanks for the advice man, definitely seeing eye-to-
eye...took the offer at Deloitte. Figure long-term it'll
open up doors, plus it's gold on the resume. Not to
mention I can see IA be about as fun as stabbing my
eyeballs with needles....glad I saw past the money

For the dude asking what part of the country i'm in, that
would be Chicago...assuming your in a small market, but
luckily I grew up here and always assumed cities like New
York and Chicago (NY having wall street, Chicago with the
Board of Trade & the merc) were the only place to really
have a lot of options as someone in finance/accounting
due to their prominence in world finances....
