I was wondering the same thing. I bought all 4 parts this past spring and have 3 sections knocked out but won't take REG until February.

Stankonia:

I noticed you got a perfect score on Ethics.  I haven't attempted this portion.  I have some questions of you if you wouldn't mind sharing your experience:

  1. How did you approach the material to arrive at such an impressive performance?
  2. How long did it take you to prepare your answers in total?
  3. Do you have any suggestions you'd be willing to make?

I didn't really do anything special; I just had a bit of an advantage since I took it right after graduation and one of my classes during my final semester emphasized a lot of the material that was on the exam. So it was kind of like having a head start on studying.

My best suggestion is to go for the disc-based version instead of the book. Since you get a 3 tries at the exam, if you notice are having problems with a certain area during your first try it is much easier to search the disc than it is to look through the book.

As for the amount of time, I don't recall exactly but I want to say it took me around 2 hours or so to answer the questions (give or take a bit). A lot of the material is covered in the sections of the exam that you have already taken (ethics and independence in AUD, for example), so you will probably be able to finish faster.

Thanks Stankonia.  I'll go for the disc.
