pass all your exams and then apply.. they'll scoop you up because they don't have to pay for your exams.
but on a side note, i work for the big 4 and it's insane.  your entire day pretty much consists of people getting pissed at you because they have miserable lives or copying and pasting for 10 hours. lol, but true. It's about as exciting as watching CSPAN.. no, i take that back, CSPAN is more exciting.
But, if you REALLY want it, there are ways.  My gpa wasn't a 4.0 and I did it by passing the exams and then applying.

I would NOT wait to pass the exams before you apply.
Nightmare I saw your other post and I believe you're the
exception. You're best bet is to do a Macc and do campus
recruiting. You more than likely will need to do a Macc
anyways to get the 150 hours.

I don't think any big 4 is going to "scoop you up" or
make any hiring decision based on not having to pay $800
in cpa exam fees. I passed one part before I got an offer
and they're still reimbursing me for that. The 5K bonus
still applies if you pass before or after you start as
well.

To note on the hours - yes they suck but it's part of it.

PwC had a 3.2 min GPA when I was there. Do what you can and hope for the
best. I had a 3.2 from Cornell undergrad, 3.7 MBA, 3.8 MACC and (crossing
fingers) CPA, still can't get a glance sideways. And I have 9+ years at PwC
Consulting.

Stupid economy.
