I took BEC today and walked out feeling pretty good so I'm hoping no to
have to visit the Prometric center again. As for the exam I didn't think it
was all that bad. I do have to say Roger CPA review didnt make me
feel as comfortable as I did with Aud or Reg, but once the exam started
I was surprised as to not feeling lost and was able to answer a lot of
questions quickly.

I still believe the key to the CPA exam is doing a ton of questions. I was
surprised as to how unbusy the Prometric center was. I guess a lot of
ppl waiting a little more before taking their exams. Good luck everyone.

To be honest, I watched Becker lectures and did their homework questions, but I felt everything made so much more sense to me after reading Wiley's review material and doing their questions. Becker was all over the place, in my opinion, and hard for me to follow and focus. There were some items marked ancilliary in Becker that ended up being about 5-6 MCQs, but because I had gone through Wiley's review material I was prepared. I remember leaving the exam like "I'm so glad I used Wiley in addition to Becker." I would have been SOL had I not. But of course with every exam it's the luck of the draw - this may not apply to you at all.

I think that overall because BEC was added not to long ago (2005) to the CPA exam, no review course has got it right. I think you need more then one review to get it right, but not a must. I also did supplement my studies with Wiley. It helped me understand some concepts, but they didn't show up on the exam :).

@CPA1979, I agree. Having more than one review material definitely helped. I spent so much time learning the variance formulas and had 0 calc questions lol Not complaining though ;-)

bcpa1day,

Even I am also using Becker 2011 and I want to supplement with Wiley. Could you please tell me did you use the only Wiley online test bank or test bank with Bec book. My question is since i have a becker can I buy only wiley online test bank or do I need willey Bec book also to slove those MCQs. Can you tell me where did u buy....I am getting online test bank for $105 on wiley's wensite. Please suggest.
